2.5 cups Flour
1 stick Butter
1 cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1 cup Pumpkin Puree
1 Egg
1 tablespoon Pumpkin Pie Spice
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
2 teaspoons Cinnamon
2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
1/2 teaspoon Salt
8 ounces Cream Cheese room temperature
3 tablespoons Butter
2 cups Powdered Sugar

The cookies are incredibly flavourful with the addition of pumpkin spice. These cookies perfect for Halloween.

Set the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, pumpkin pie spice, and salt until combined. Set aside.

In a mixer, cream together the butter and sugar. Add pumpkin, eggs, and vanilla to mixture; and beat until creamy.
Mix in dry ingredients and drop on cookie sheet using a cookie scoop.

Bake for 12-13 minutes in the preheated oven or until cookies are slightly browned on top.
Cool cookies on a baking rack.

With an electric mixer, beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla together on medium-high speed until smooth. Gradually add in the powdered sugar until it is all combined and the frosting is smooth.

Spoon the icing on top of the cooled pumpkin cookies.
