2.5 pound Yukon Gold Potatoes
1/2 cup Olive Oil divided
28 ounce can Crushed Tomatoes
1 Onion diced
4 Garlic Cloves minced
2 teaspoons Spanish Smoked Paprika
1/4 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1/4 cup Mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
2-3 dashes Hot sauce
Salt

Patatas bravas is one of the most popular tapas from Spain. This simple, yet delicious tapa is traditionally made with fried potatoes topped with a spicy sauce.

Preheat the oven to 375F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Place the diced potatoes in a bowl, drizzle with olive oil and salt and toss until well coated. Arrange them in one single layer on the lined baking sheet. Bake at 375F for 30 -45 minutes.

For salsa brava: Heat olive oil in a saute pan over medium heat. Add onion and saute until soft and golden. Add 3 garlic and stir for 30 seconds. Add tomatoes, salt, paprika, cayenne pepper and hot sauce, stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

Reduce heat and allow to simmer on low for about 20 minutes.

For garlic aioli; Add mayonnaise, lemon juice and garlic to a bowl and stir to combine.

Spoon salsa brava and garlic aioli over the warm potatoes right before serving.
