Bring a large pot of water to a boil. |

Meanwhile, brown sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring often to break up clumps. Reduce heat to low, stir in garlic and cover to keep warm. |

Add pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package directions, adding broccoli for the last 3 minutes of cooking time. Remove and reserve 1/2 cup pasta cooking water, then drain pasta and pour it into a serving bowl. |

Add sausage, reserved cooking water and 1/2 cup of the Parmesan cheese. Toss to mix. Serve with remaining cheese. |
