Bake cupcakes according to your favorite recipe. You’ll need 20. Let them cool completely.

Color your frosting with food coloring until you get the color you want.

Assemble the cupcakes on a cake board as illustrated.

Move the frosting to a pastry bag fitted with a large flat tip. To make the lips, pipe the outside edges first, then fill in the rest. Using an angled spatula, smooth out the mixture.

Once smoothed, trace the outside edges again with frosting.

Sprinkles can be put across the section and around the edges if desired.
