2 pounds Beef Sirloin cut into strips
1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
4 Garlic Cloves minced
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
3/4 cup Water
2/3 cup Brown Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Ginger minced
2 tablespoons Corn Starch
3 Green Onions sliced into 1-inch pieces
for garnish Sesame Seeds
to taste Salt

Instant Pot Mongolian Beef is a sweet and slightly spicy Asian dish made with tender beef, in sticky garlic and brown sugar sauce that has an incredible flavor.

In a large bowl toss the flank steak strips with the cornstarch.

Add the oil to the hot Instant Pot, once the oil is hot, add the beef and sauté for 2-3 minutes, stirring a few times.

Transfer the browned meat pieces to a plate, set aside.

Add the garlic and sauté 1 minute. Add soy sauce, 1/2 cup water, brown sugar, and ginger. Stir to combine.

Add back in the browned beef pieces. Place the lid on top of Instant Pot and lock. Turning the valve to the “sealed” position.

Select High Pressure. Set timer for 12 minutes.

When cooking is complete, use a quick release to depressurize.

Stir in the green onions and garnish with sesame seeds. Serve over rice.
