Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. |

In a mixer, combine the softened butter and peanut butter and beat until fluffy. Then add both sugar and beat again until fluffy. Scrape the bowl and beat in the vanilla and egg. Combine the salt, baking soda, baking powder, and flour in a separate bowl. Gradually add dry mixture to wet mixture and beat until blended. |

Roll dough into 1 inch balls then into the additional sugar. Put them 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. |

Melt the chocolate chips over a double boiler. Remove from the heat and let cool briefly so that it is slightly thickened but still pipe-able. |

Use a small spoon and indent the middle. Put 2 chocolate candies directly into each hot cookie. Use some for the candy eyes then draw legs coming out of the body. |
