8 ounces Pasta
1 bunch Asparagus trimmed of tough ends and halved crosswise
3 handfulls Spinach Leaves
1 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
2 Garlic Clove peeled
1 cup Pine Nuts
1/4 cup Olive Oil
1/2 Lemon Juice
1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt

    Bring two pots of water to a boil, one large for the pasta and the other medium for the asparagus.

    Put the pine nuts in a single layer in a large skillet. Cook over medium heat until lightly browned.

    Salt the asparagus water and drop the spears into the pan and cook for only 2 or 3 minutes

    In a food processor, combine the asparagus, spinach, garlic, Parmesan, and 3/4 cup pine nuts.

    Add olive oil, the lemon juice and salt,

    Cook pasta according to package directions.

    Drain and toss immediately with 1 cup of the asparagus pesto
